Our trip will be Wednesday-Sunday, August 5th-9th.
Wilderness Canoe Base, a well-regarded ELCA camp off the Gunflint Trail, will be leading our trip. The trip is open to 6th-12th grade youth AND adults, and friends are welcome to join us even if they're not Bethlehem members. Due to interest from other congregation members, we are opening it up to adults as well. Depending on who signs up, we may have one group of adults and one group of youth with an adult leader. Or, we may have a mix of adults and youth.
The cost is $350 per person. We currently have 16 spots available. Please reach out if you have questions or need more information.
To register, you should complete this form and provide a $150 non-refundable deposit before the trip fills up or by March 11th.Please note: We will be camping in a tent, carrying our gear and canoes, and generally "roughing it". It's a rewarding experience, but a trip like this requires physical strength and is not without its challenges. We welcome those who haven't canoed or taken a canoe trip before, but please be aware of your physical limitations before signing up. Once I've received a non-refundable deposit, your spot will be reserved! Youth who are signed up will be able to request to be with each other since we have enough for two groups. We will have at least one Bethlehem adult in each group.
I will reach out in the May to complete the final trip payment of $200. We will have a final trip meeting in early to mid-July. (Or, a long email or video, if that works better for scheduling.)
